Kim Domingo turns emotional while singing self-written song inspired by late best friend
Kim Domingo couldn't help but burst into tears when she sang her self-written track, which was inspired by her late best friend who passed away in 2020.
On her Instagram video, the Kapuso actress was seen wiping her tears away just before she was about to give a glimpse of the song in front of her friends.
Apart from it being her first time letting others hear her creation, Kim turned emotional as it was a song written with Angelo Fango in mind.
"It really feels different when you do or sing something that comes straight from your heart," she wrote in the caption.
"To the person who served as my inspiration to write this song. I would like to say thank you at sana nakangiti ka d'yan. Para sa 'yo 'to. [I hope you are smiling over there. This is for you.] Love you," she added, tagging his Instagram account.
Angelo lost his battle to a lung disease. Kim has since been keeping her love for him alive by remembering him on special occasions like his birthday.
Meanwhile, the actress revealed earlier this year that one of her dreams is to write her own song. She is set to share it with everyone soon.
