Iwa Moto holds Thirdy's hand for comfort as stepson gets vaccinated
Iwa Moto and Thirdy, her stepson with Pampi Lacson, just proved that they have developed such a strong bond with each other throughout the years.
On Instagram, Iwa shared a video of Thirdy stretching before getting vaccinated. Just before getting the shot, he reached for Iwa's hand and held it tight during the process.
In the caption, Iwa said that she and Thirdy are both scared of injections. When the teen was younger, he and Iwa would always hold hands whenever she accompanies him for a jab. She thought those days are over.
"Ngayong malaki na siya, when I offered my hand para hawakan niya, tinanggihan niya," she wrote. "Nagulat ako, akala ko talagang binata na siya at talagang 'di na siya takot."
["Now that he's older, when I offered my hand for him to hold, he declined. I was surprised, I thought he's a young man now and he's really no longer scared."]
"After a few seconds, biglang na-realize niya na takot pa rin pala siya," she added. "Kaya hawak kamay na naman kaming dalawa."
["After a few seconds, he realized he's still scared after all. So the two of us held hands again."]
As of writing, the video has garnered over 45,000 views and peppered with comments from netizens who can't help but find the interaction sweet.
Thirdy is Pampi's son with ex-partner Jodi Sta. Maria. Previously, Jodi and Iwa bonded with their kids through a TikTok video and warmed hearts for their healthy friendship.
After their first child Mimi, Iwa and Pampi welcomed their second baby Caleb Jiro last January.
