Child who lost parents at a young age receives early Christmas gift from GMA Kapuso Foundation
A 12-year-old child who lost his parents at a young age received a Christmas gift from the GMA Kapuso Foundation ahead of the holidays.
According to a "24 Oras" report, Wednesday, Razel Bueta is now being cared for by Gemma Almoguera, his aunt. The child moved from Manila to Masbate.
As a way to help Almoguera's family, among the things Razel does is feed cows in the morning. Gemma, meanwhile, vows to help the child finish his studies as his only family member left.
Aside from Razel, 2,404 other students were given gift bags under the "Give a Gift: Alay sa Batang Pinoy Christmas Project."
The GMA Kapuso Foundation is accepting donations through bank deposits, Cebuana Lhuillier, Shopee, GCash, Pay Maya, Zalora, Mega Mart, Globe Rewards, Metrobank credit card, and Lazada.
The foundation's team is also on standby in Samar and Cebu in preparation for Typhoon Odette.
