Maggie Wilson after being ‘broken too many times in the past’: This time, I have found courage

Maggie Wilson just posted an empowering life update.

In her Instagram post on Wednesday, the former beauty queen shared a stunning beach photo with a caption saying she “woke up” and “found courage" after being "broken too many times in the past."

“I have been broken too many times in the past. I have put myself back together so many times before and I can do it again,” Maggie wrote.

“This time, I am armed with the self respect, morals and values I forgot I had because I was blind,” she added.

“This time, I woke up… This time, I have found courage.”

Maggie posted the update more than two months after announcing her separation with Victor Consunji.

In her statement last September, Maggie said “there is no animosity between us” and that she and her former husband would continue to be supportive of each other no matter what.

The couple, who tied the knot in Albay in 2010, share a son named Connor. — LA, GMA News
