Nonie and Shamaine Buencamino remember late daughter Julia on 22nd birthday
Filipino thespians Nonie and Sharmaine Buencamino are remembering their daughter Julia on what would have been her 22nd birthday.
Shamaine shared a photo from Julia’s 14th birthday, saying she continues to deal with grief more than six years after her daughter’s death.
“She would have been 22 today. Happy birthday my love,” Shamaine wrote.
“I’m blessed with the opportunity to not just sit with, but see and talk to my grief at @alyahonasan ‘s session today at the healing heARTS workshop,” she added, tagging writer and theater actress Alya Honasan.
Meanwhile, Nonie shared a photo from Julia’s childhood days with a short, heartfelt message to his daughter.
“Happy birthday our dearest Julia! We miss you! I woke up missing you and thinking of you today. I love you,” he said.
Julia Buencamino was found dead inside her Quezon City home in July 2015.
The actress died of apparent suicide, leaving her family and the showbiz industry in shock.
