Cong TV and Viy Cortez are having a baby

A year after suffering from a miscarriage, vlogger Viy Cortez and partner Cong TV are expecting another baby.

The YouTube stars announced the news in a vlog posted Thursday, December 2, 2021.

Viy could be seen getting emotional after getting two positive pregnancy tests in a row.

She then showed the tests to Cong, who gave her a big smile.

"Totoo ba?" Cong said. "Matulog ka na 'don! Bawal kang gumalaw."

Cong then quickly got up to give Viy a hug, and the couple went around the house to tell "Team Payaman" about the news.

At the start of her vlog, Viy said she couldn't believe it at first due to some recent health issues.

"Naiiyak ako kasi natatakot ako kasi, di ba, kaka-opera ko lang at negative ako nun, eh ano 'yun, mga two weeks ako. So kung negative ako baka false positive din ngayon. So naiiyak ako kasi baka umasa lang ako tapos hindi naman pala,," she said.

"Hindi ko alam," she added. "Nahalo-halo ang emosyon ko, naiiyak ako sa saya, naiiyak ako sa nalulungkot ako kasi, paano kung mawala na naman or pano kung hindi pala talaga?"

All her worries, however, were eventually swept away when a sonogram confirmed a heartbeat and the baby was okay.

In December last year, Viy revealed that she and Cong lost their baby only days after finding out that she was pregnant.

Viy and Cong have been together since the latter was just starting out with his vlogging career. Viy is now a vlogger as well, with several businesses. —Margaret Claire Layug/JCB, GMA News
