Michelle Madrigal reveals she and ex-husband Troy Woolfolk still live in the same house

Although they're getting a divorce, Michelle Madrigal revealed that she and former husband Troy Woolfolk were still living in the same house together.

In a vlog post on Saturday, the actress said they lived in the same home but stayed in separate rooms.

"We're still going through that divorce. We're still navigating this co-parenting together," Michelle said. "We just want to be there for our daughter."

The actress said that eventually she or Troy would move out of the house they'd "built together," but what was important to them was letting their child, Anika, see that they were a team no matter the circumstances.

"Sometimes it's hard when you're going through divorce, what comes with it. It's kinda hard to be in the same space with your ex but we're learning how to talk, how to become mature," she said.

"It takes a lot of maturity to be in that space and be able to co-parent in this situation," she added. "I'm glad we're able to still be there for Anika."

Michelle said Anika had not yet fully understood their situation and didn't have any questions just yet, but the actress said they'd been preparing and talking to her about it.

In August, Michelle shared that she and husband Troy had separated.

Michelle and Troy, who are based in Texas, tied the knot in April 2019 after meeting via Tinder. They welcomed their daughter Anika in 2017. – RC, GMA News
