Jennylyn Mercado, Dennis Trillo share surrogacy journey in new vlog

Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo have shared details about their supposed surrogacy plan.

On Friday, the couple released their new vlog detailing what they went through in their hopes of having a child.

According to the couple, they planned to have a surrogate as early as 2018, but it was a “total failure,” said Dennis.

“Parang sinabi sa amin na, ‘ah di pa kayo ganoon ka-ready,’” said Jennylyn.

Finally in 2020, they decided to push through with it in the United States.

Because they couldn’t go together due to their jobs, Dennis left for Dallas, Texas, first to deposit his sperm.

He returned to the Philippines after a few days, just as Jennylyn left for Las Vegas.

Jennylyn had to take several medications and injections, and she said they were fortunate to have friends in the US who were nurses.

Dennis later followed her in the US, where they stayed together for about a month.

When they already had their “excellent embryo,” the couple said they soon found their “perfect surrogate.” They already prepared the contract and scheduled the implant on the last week of October.
