Danica Sotto, Oyo Sotto mourn passing of their grandfather Papa Ebie
Danica Sotto and Oyo Sotto mourned the death of their grandfather, Papa Ebie the father of their mother Dina Bonnevie.
On Tuesday, Danica announced the unfortunate news by sharing photos of their memories together.
"Rest in paradise Papa Ebie. Thank you for being a loving grandpa to us," she wrote on Instagram.
"We will miss you so much. Love you forever Papa Up," she added.
Oyo also posted a photo of their Papa Ebie with his children taken in September 2019.
"You will be missed Papa Ebi… Thank you for all the good memories. Thankful to God that our children was able to meet their great grandfather. We love you! Rest In Paradise. 11.1.21," he said.
On Father's Day, Danica shared her message for Papa Ebie and explained how his nickname came about.
"We call him Papa Ebie meaning Papa Bonnevie but because bulol pa when we were kids, naging 'Papa Ebie,'" she said.
"We used to go to Laguna with him. Swimming ang bonding namin sa kanya and he always had stories to tell about the past."
