LJ Reyes says Paolo Contis has not reached out to her and their kids

A month after they broke their silence on their split, LJ Reyes said Paolo Contis still hasn’t reached out.

Apart from the statement that Paolo issued in September, LJ told Boy Abunda in an exclusive interview uploaded Wednesday that there have still been no efforts for them to talk directly.

Despite this, LJ said she is still working on forgiving him as it is essential for her as a mother.

“Pinagdadasal ko na mapatawad ko siya ‘cause I know that if I don’t forgive him, this very dark emotion will just eat me up and I won’t be able to move on, forward with my kids nang maayos,” she said.

“Syempre may pain pero for me to at least make decent decisions that will benefit my kids, I really have to set aside all those negative emotions which is very difficult,” she added.

In the post that Paolo released following LJ's tell-all, he apologized to those who have been affected by the issue, including LJ, his ex-wife Lian Paz, and their children.

Paolo also admitted that a third-party was involved in his breakup with LJ, to which LJ said she chose to not give too much of her attention so it will not “break you.”

LJ first revealed on September 1 that their split was not mutual and that Paolo refused to take her and their kids back. They have a daughter together named Summer.

LJ, Summer, and Aki, her child with actory Paulo Avelino, are all currently in New York with her family. — Franchesca Viernes/LA, GMA News
