Carla Abellana shares peek at upcoming wedding ceremony with Tom Rodriguez

Carla Abellana couldn't help but get a bit emotional amidst her wedding preparations.

In her Instagram story on Wednesday, the future Mrs. Tom Rodriguez shared a sneak-peek at their wedding ceremony, specifically the part where they will finally exchange rings.

“Proofreading… and crying,” Carla said.

As stated in the script, Tom is set to face her at the altar and say: “Carla, wear this ring as a sign of my love and fidelity. In the Name of the Father, the Son and The Holy Spirit.”

Then it will be Carla’s turn to say: “Tom, wear this ring as a sign of my love and fidelity. In the Name of the Father, the Son and The Holy Spirit."

Traditionally, the ring exchange will be followed by the groom presenting the bride with coins to symbolize a promise of prosperity in the couple's marriage.

Tom reposted Carla’s sneak-peek on his Instagram story, and added a trail of hearts.

The celebrity couple got engaged in October 2020 but only revealed it to the public in March.

Tom and Carla, who have played husband and wife together many times on television, have said in a recent interview that they plan to have their classic-style Church wedding this October. —JCB, GMA News
