Japeth Aguilar, wife Cassandra Naidas are expecting their first child!

Barangay Ginebra San Miguel PBA player Japeth Aguilar and his wife former beauty queen Cassandra Naidas are expecting their first child!

On Tuesday, Cassandra announced the news by sharing a photo of the two of them together with Japeth holding her baby bump.

"Some miracles take a little time.. We are thrilled to be a small family of 3 (+5 furbabies)," Cassandra wrote on Instagram.

"Asking for your prayers through this journey," she added.

Cassandra said she had "some conditions that make this pregnancy high risk and despite taking many medications and treatments, prayers are what we need most."

"I'll share a little more information in the future about our struggles and experiences but right now, I just wanted to share this exciting news with all of you," she added.

"We're beyond blessed and super excited for this next chapter of our lives."
