JK Labajo sends roses with note in German to Maureen Wroblewitz

JK Labajo has sent a beautiful bouquet of roses along with a note in German to his girlfriend, Miss Universe Philippines 2021 1st runner-up Maureen Wroblewitz.

On Saturday, Maureen shared a photo of JK’s flowers and note.

According to a rough translation, JK called Maureen his sweetheart. "I am very proud of you. You are my universe. Wish you all the best and see you soon. I love you more than anything," it said.

"The most supportive. Not sure how he knew what to write in German lol," the Filipino-German beauty queen wrote on Instagram.

Shortly after the pageant on Thursday, JK also posted his sweet message and congratulations for Maureen: "Ikaw pa rin ang aking Miss Universe (You are still my Miss Universe)," he said.

JK has been vocal in showing his support for Maureen's journey to the Miss Universe Philippines crown. On Instagram stories, he had shared videos of himself cheering and shouting as he watched the pageant on a screen. He had also asked his followers to vote for his girlfriend on the Miss Universe Philippines app.

Aside from winning Miss Universe Philippines 1st runner-up, Maureen, the first Filipina to win "Asia's Next Top Model," also took home the special awards Miss Air Asia Philippines and Miss Hennan Resort.

During the Miss Universe Philippines 2021 finals, Cebu City candidate Beatrice Gomez made history when she became the first openly out member of the LGBTQIA+ community to win the crown.

Following Beatrice is Miss Taguig Katrina Dimaranan as Miss Universe Philippines Tourism, Miss Cavite Victoria Velasquez Vincent as Miss Universe Philippines Charity, Maureen as 1st runner-up, and Miss Cebu Province Steffi Rose Aberasturi as 2nd runner-up.
