Jinky Oda reveals she experienced heartbreak in US

Jinky Oda has revealed that she experienced heartbreak when she moved to the US.

In an episode of “Tunay Na Buhay” on Wednesday, the former comedian said she had been dating “but nothing serious yet.”

“Kasi na-brokenhearted na ako once dito eh (I’ve been brokenhearted here once),” she said.

“Kaya sabi ko, ay, ganoon pala eksena. Na-culture shock ako sa bagay na ’yun kaya hinay-hinay,” she added.

[I said, oh, so this is the scene here. I was culture shocked by that incident so I’m taking it slow.]

Admitting that she had been impulsive in the past, Jinky said that now, she just prayed for a sincere partner.

Jinky, who rose to fame with her comedic role in the 1989 fantasy series “Okay Ka, Fairy Ko,” also starred on different GMA shows such as “Vampire Ang Daddy Ko” and “Daldalita.”
