Did you know that Juancho Trivino asks his wife Joyce Pring for permission before he goes biking with friends?

Some might be quick to assume that the actor has gone "under the saya," or worse, did something questionable, but Juancho actually has a really sweet (and smart) reason why he wants to let Joyce know about his trips.

"Maliban sa kailangan maging sensitive sa needs niya, so she knows where I am, who I'm with and what time I'll be back," Juancho told GMA News Online in an Instagram Q&A.

"To set expectations also in how she will plan out her day and to make sure I'm safe," he added.

In a "hidden camera" clip he posted on Instagram last month, Juancho casually asked Joyce if he could go out with friends.

Joyce asked several questions, which made Juancho nervous, but the TV and podcast host eventually nodded.

Juancho then finally told Joyce that he "caught [her] on camera," and netizens were amused by how happy he seemed after getting his wife's sweet yes.

Many Filipinos have turned to biking as a healthy pastime and alternative way to get around amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Juancho, however, clarified that he no longer allows himself any bike rides amid the rising cases.

"I don't allow myself to bike. Unahan ko na siya," he said in his IG caption. – RC, GMA News
