Chito Miranda on Neri's birthday: 'Aalagaan kita, and I will cherish you'

Neri Miranda is a year old today and her husband Chito Miranda made sure to be among the first to greet Neri a happy birthday.

At the stroke of midnight Tuesday, Chito posted a glammed up photo of his wife and wrote a such a sincere and thoughtful greeting.

"Alam ko sablay ako palagi pagdating sa mga birthday mo, pero promise, gusto ko talaga galingan," he began.

"Just like with everything else, gusto ko talaga galingan para sa 'yo," Chito added.

[I know I always mess up on your birthday but I promise, I really want to be better. Just like with everything else, I want to be better for you.]

The Parokya ni Edgar frontman said he wanted to be the best dad to their children and be the best husband to Neri. He wanted to get the perfect score at taking care of her, Chito added.

"Gusto ko feeling mo palagi kang safe dahil sa akin. Tuwing iniisip mo tayo, gusto ko secured ka na makakasama, at magtatawanan tayo hanggang sa pagtanda, at alam mo, without a doubt, na never kita pababayaan," he continued.

"Aalagaan kita and I will always cherish you, kasi ikaw ang greatest blessing sa akin ni God," Chito wrote, ending his greeting the same way he began it: With a teasing, "Happy birthday, Mr. Neri!"

Chito and Neri tied the knot in 2014. They welcomed their son, Miggy, in 2016.
