LJ Reyes confirms separation with Paolo Contis: ‘It was so difficult, painful’

LJ Reyes has confirmed that she and Paolo Contis are already separated.

In a 21-second teaser for Boy Abunda’s “The Interviewer,” the host asked the actress: “Ang separation niyo ni Paolo, was it mutual?”

On the verge of tears, LJ said: “It was so difficult, it was so painful.” 

She added, “kung hindi malakas ’yung pananampalataya ko sa Panginoon, hindi ko alam kung saan ako pupulutin.”

Asked who initiated the breakup, LJ said she felt that Paolo had been distant for quite some time now.

“Matagal ko nang nararamdaman na parang nakahiwalay na siya sa amin,” she said.
