Andi Eigenmann reflects on motherhood after feeling that a part of her feels missing when Ellie isn't around

Andi Eigenmann took to Instagram to reflect on motherhood after feeling that a part of her is missing whenever her eldest, Ellie, isn't around.

"A part of me always feels missing when this kid isn't around. I miss her so much!!" Andi wrote in the caption of her post on Sunday sharing a photo of Ellie and another photo of the two of them outdoors.

"Having 3 kids doesn't mean we learn to split our heart into pieces. Mothers just have this innate capability of having our hearts grow big enough to have more and more love to give," she wrote.

"I cherish this gift so much because it is the most important thing we can offer our kids," she added.

Despite this, Andi said "it could get pretty difficult too especially when they start to grow into their own person with their own preferences and making their own decisions."

"I just have to constantly remind myself that I committed to raising my little girl in order for her to find her true and authentic self so that she could live her happiest and best life," she added. "Not so that she could stay with me forever and keep me comfortable."

Ellie is Andi's 9-year-old daughter with Jake Ejercito. She has two other children, Lilo and Koa, with her fiance Philmar Alipayo.

Ellie would alternately stay in Siargao with her mom and in Manila with her dad Jake. —JAB, GMA News.
