Sharifa Akeel, Maguindanao Rep. Esmael Mangudadatu tie the knot

Miss Asia Pacific International 2018 Sharifa Akeel and Second District Maguindanao Rep. Esmael Mangudadatu have officially tied the knot.

The wedding was held at the Al Nor Hotel and Convention Center in Cotabato City on August 25, Wednesday.

Photos posted by guests who attended the ceremony were shared by the popular pageant fan page, Pageant Talk.

According to a previous announcement, only a limited number of guests were invited as a safety protocol amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sharifa Akeel was crowned Miss Asia Pacific International in 2018.

The Muslim beauty queen’s relationship with Mangudadatu has drawn controversy over the past few years.
