KC Concepcion celebrates dad Kiko Pangilinan’s birthday with cute throwback pic and heartfelt message

KC Concepcion penned a thoughtful birthday greeting for her stepfather Kiko Pangilinan.

Posting a cute throwback photo, from Sen. Kiko's graduation from Harvard Kennedy School, KC first greeted him a happy birthday and then went on to thank him "for disciplining me and guiding me so strongly in my teenage years and beyond.” 

“It’s because of you that I have a thirst for knowledge, am able to focus on and accomplish goals at work, achieve things with the courage that I can, with hard work, patience, and most especially the constant act of educating myself,” she added.

According to KC, among the many things she picked up from her stepdad is that one “can learn anything,” which in turn has “built that foundation of learning and applying to life” in her.

“Together with all that mom and my grandparents instilled in me, I want to thank you for helping to make me, me, in more ways than one,” she wrote.

“Have a wonderful new year ahead of you! We love you. Happy birthday!” she ended her post.

KC is Sharon’s daughter with Gabby Concepcion. She was legally adopted by Kiko when she was 16. — Franchesca Viernes/LA, GMA News
