Chito Miranda says it's 'so fun being married' to wife Neri

Even after almost seven years of marriage, Chito Miranda and his wife Neri still find joy in being husband and wife.

In a Music+Talk episode on Share Ko Lang, the Parokya Ni Edgar frontman shared what married life is like for the two of them.

"Parang we feel na I'm really old but we feel that we're still kids na naglalaro ng bahay-bahayan and it's so fun being married talaga lalo na ngayon may anak na kami," Chito told host Dr. Anna Tuazon.

"Wala lang, sobrang enjoy. Sobrang enjoy talaga. Hindi namin inisip 'yung benefits and pros and cons ng law, e. Kami enjoy lang talaga being married," he added.

("It's like we feel that we're really old but we feel that we're still kids who are playing house, and it's so fun being married, especially now that we have a kid.

We really enjoy it. We don't think about the benefits and pros and cons of the law. We really just enjoy being married.")

Chito also talked about the security of their relationship, saying that's one of the differences between being married compared to just dating.

"Even if we mess up, alam natin na she or your partner is willing to fight things through," he said.

("Even if we mess up, we know that our partner is willing to fight things through.")

And while their relationship looks picture perfect on social media, Chito said that they also have fights, especially since they're both "alphas."

"The good thing about being married for me is even if we mess up at times, even na naglalaban kami, alam namin na at the end of the day, magkakaayos at magkakaayos kami kasi we have something larger than ourselves to fight for, which is our family and 'yung integrity ng kasal namin," he said.

Chito and Neri tied the knot in 2014. They welcomed their son, Miggy, in 2016.
