Kris Bernal encourages couples who had to postpone weddings amid pandemic: 'Love is not cancelled'
Kris Bernal has a message for couples who had to postpone their weddings amid the pandemic, just like her.
Kris and her fiancé Perry Choi have been engaged since February 2020 and were supposed to tie the knot back in June, but the surge of COVID-19 cases in April halted their plans.
On Instagram, Monday, the actress shared more photos from their prenup shoot and encouraged couples to stay strong amid the "terribly uncertain" times.
"Mood: May i-eextend pa ba?" Kris wrote in the caption. "Planning a wedding during a pandemic is a never-ending challenge for couples like us. You never know when the next surge or lockdown is going to be."
"Just want to let you know that you are not alone. Our wedding suppliers will just always be supportive," she said. "And, we will celebrate again that's for sure."
She suggested not to stress over things that cannot be controlled.
"Everything will fall into place as long as our relationships can survive the togetherness of a pandemic!" she said.
"Love is not cancelled despite our weddings being postponed! We are constantly praying with you all that things will be better," she added. "For now, keep safe and protect your loved ones!"
