Never-before-seen footage from Derek Ramsay’s proposal to Ellen Adarna

Derek Ramsay and Ellen Adarna have shared never-before-seen footage from their marriage proposal!

The video was uploaded on the launch of their YouTube channel “Derek and Ellen” on Wednesday.

In the nearly eight-minute video, it was shown that before Derek popped the question, Ellen was first put to the challenge of finding notes with clues placed around their house.

Derek told Ellen that he wasn’t in on the plan and even pretended by helping her look for the clues outside the house, inside the rooms, and in the elevator.

Finally, when they reached the rooftop, Ellen was shocked to see that her loved ones were present to celebrate her birthday. After blowing the candle on her cake, she was asked to read one more clue.

“A special surprise is waiting,” she read, but wasn’t given a chance to finish.

While she was still looking at the paper, Derek went behind her and removed the balloons covering the neon signs that read: “Will you marry me?”

To which, Ellen could only utter several “oh my gods” while crying. After a while, she said yes.

Butterflies flew around them as they pulled each other in for a hug. They then took photos with their sons Elias and Austin.

Before the video ended, Ellen joked while showing her ring: “No choice.”

Ellen first showed some snippets a few days after the proposal in April.

Elias is Ellen’s son with John Lloyd Cruz, while Austin is Derek’s child with former wife Mary Christine Jolly. – Franchesca Viernes/RC, GMA News
