Ai Ai delas Alas, children fire back at comment over age gap with her husband Gerald Sibayan
Ai Ai delas Alas and her children have had enough of the negative comments about their age difference with her husband Gerald Sibayan.
On Sunday, the comedienne shared on Instagram a photo of their family members all smiles while having dinner.
“Rare family day where we’re complete. Thank you Lord,” she wrote in English and Filipino.
One person, however, commented on her post: “Anong tawag ng mga anak mo sa asawa mo? Eh mukhang matanda pa po anak mo sa asawa mo? Ask lang.”
Ai Ai’s son Sancho replied with a simple and straightforward answer. “Ako, tawag ko kay Gerald kumpadre. Tawag namin sa mga katulad mo k*pal.”
The actress herself also took the time to answer the commenter. “Tawag ko sa asawa ko Darl. Tawag ko sa’yo tae hahahhahaa. G*go. Ul*l,” she wrote.
When Ai Ai noticed that the commenter took out their profile picture, she couldn’t help but laugh.
“Ang laki laki ng mukha mo parang kinagat ng ipis. Nananahimik pamilya namin sa masayang dinner. Dami mong sinasabi animal!” she said.
Shortly after, the commenter asked: “[May] masama ba akong sinabi ha? Nagtatanong lang nagalit na kayo kaagad.”
To which Ai Ai replied: “Masama ba magsabi ng totoo na una, ang laki ng mukha mo. Pangalawa, nananahimik pamilya namin. Tanong mo pang [hindi] edukado.”
Ai Ai and Gerald recently returned to the Philippines after staying in the United States, where they received their COVID-19 vaccines and reunited with her son Shaun after several years.
In May, they revealed that they planned to have a baby through in vitro fertilization (IVF) this year.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2017, will celebrate their fourth wedding anniversary in December.
Ai Ai has four children—Sancho, Shaun, Sophia, and Seth Andre.
In 2014, the couple made it clear that their 29-year age gap didn’t matter to them. – Franchesca Viernes/RC, GMA News
