Why did Joyce Pring and Juancho Triviño name their son 'Alonso Eliam'?
Kapuso host Joyce Pring gave birth to a healthy baby boy named Alonso Eliam earlier this month.
According to her husband Juancho Triviño, Baby Eliam's nickname is Liam.
While answering fan questions on his Instagram Stories, he explained that the "Eliam" actually means "God is my nation."
"Alonso" meanwhile was inspired by two sports legends: Miami Heat player Alonzo Morning and Formula 1 driver Fernando Alonso.
"We wanted a bit different so we changed the Z to an S, then later on we re-confirmed by our love for F1 which features an f1 great named Fernando Alonso," Juancho said.
It's no secret that the Word of God has a special place in Joyce and Juancho's relationship. The two frequently share prayers and Bible passages on social media.
As for their love for sports, Joyce had dabbled in racing when she joined the Vios Cup several years back, while Juancho is a proud basketball enthusiast.
