Robin Padilla on giving marriage advice to daughter Kylie: What is my credibility?
Robin Padilla said he feels that he is not credible to give his daughter Kylie Padilla advice when it comes to marriage.
In the second part of his interview with Ogie Diaz, Robin said his only advice to his daughter is for her to go back to fighting.
"Mahirap 'yung ganyang ang sitwasyon ng puso mo tapos wala kang gagawin. Dapat mag-ensayo ka, balik mo 'yung fighting ano mo," she said. "Sabi ko lumaban ka ulit. Fighter kasi 'yan eh, totoo."
("It's difficult when the situation of your heart is like that and you do nothing. You should practice, return to your fighting [form], fight again. She's a fighter, truly.")

Robin said this is the only advice he could give Kylie, adding that he is not the right person to give her marriage advice.
"'Pag dating sa marriage ano ba ma-i-a-advise ko eh failure din kami ng mama niya? Anong credibility ko?" he said.
("When it comes to marriage, what advice can I give when her mother and I are also failures? What is my credibility?")
Robin said that he suggested to have Aljur Abrenica convert to Islam.
"Kasi 'di ako pumayag nun, isa lang ang hiling ko, 'Puwede ba magpakasal kayo?' Nagpakasal nga sila," he said.
("Back then I refused, I only wish for one thing, 'Can you two get married?' And they did get married.")
"Kailangan naman 'yun pero sana 'wag matagal kung magbabalikan sila 'wag nila patagalin," he added.
("That's needed but I hope if they are getting back together they don't prolong [the separation].")
Robin said he is still hoping they could fix things since Aljur is the father of his grandchildren.
In the first part of the vlog, Robin confirmed Kylie's split with Aljur.
During the interview, he was asked if there was a third party, Robin answered that there supposedly was.
After the revelation, Kylie issued an official statement on her separation from Aljur.
Kylie and Aljur first got together ten years ago. They tied the knot in December 2018. They have two sons, Alas Joaquin and Axl Romeo.
The couple first sparked breakup rumors back in February after they shared cryptic posts on Instagram.
However, they have since posted photos of them spending time together as a family.
Meanwhile, Cindy Miranda has denied accusations about being a supposed "third party" in Kylie Padilla and Aljur's split.
The actress plays Aljur's love interest in the upcoming film "Nerisa."
