Shaira Diaz says boyfriend EA Guzman is ‘very supportive’ of her fangirling over BTS

Shaira Diaz is a proud member of the BTS Army and her number one supporter? It’s none other than EA Guzman, her boyfriend of eight years.

In an online interview with GMA News Online on Wednesday, Shaira said she was grateful that EA was very supportive and understanding of her love for BTS.

“He supports me with the merchandise. When I request something, he would encourage me to buy it, but he also stops me when I go overboard,” she said in English and Filipino.

“He would tell me to stop buying because it might affect my savings. I’m happy because he keeps me balanced. That’s what I like about him,” said the actress.

“Hindi niya ako hinahayaan na lamunin nang buong-buo. ’Pag sunod-sunod na yung bili ko, sasabihin niya, ‘Isipin mo pambayad mo na lang sa [bills].’”

[He doesn’t let me go overboard. When my purchases become too frequent, he reminds me to think about my bills.]

Shaira said she was also happy that EA had turned into a fan of the group himself.

“He would play BTS songs in the car. He’s grown to love them because it’s true that they’re good and there’s no one who wouldn’t be amazed by them,” she said.

“I think that’s also a part why EA supports me,” she added. “He’s also a fan, he finds them good performers and he also loves all the songs.”

Last May, Shaira celebrated her 26th birthday with EA and a BTS-themed cake. A month later, she got two BTS symbols tattooed on her hands.

Shaira and EA celebrated their eighth anniversary in February. – RC, GMA News
