Jason Abalos tells Vickie Rushton it’s time to build a family

Jason Abalos believes it’s finally time for him and Vickie Rushton to build a family.

During an online media conference by Viva Films for the film “Silab” on Saturday, Jason said he had been waiting for Vickie to finish joining beauty pageants so they could settle down.

“Matagal na ’kong naghihintay na matapos si Vickie sa pagpa-pageant so tingin ko ’yon na ’yon. Talagang sabi ko, tama na ’yan. ’Di ka na pwede. Tayo naman,” he said.

“Talagang hinayaan ko siyang lumarga, gawin niya lahat ng gusto niya habang dalaga pa siya so ngayon, siguro panahon na para bumuo ng pamilya,” he added.

Last month, Vickie took to Instagram to mourn the end of her pageant journey, saying that she’s not yet ready to let go of her dream.

Vicki was Binibining Pilipinas’ first runner-up in 2018 and finished on the Top 15 in the same pageant the following year.

In 2020, Jason said he wanted to raise a family with Vickie in Nueva Ecija.
