Bea Alonzo on why she isn't looking for her biological dad: ‘My life is complete’

Bea Alonzo isn't interested in looking for her biological father, who left them when she was only four years old.

On “Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho,” the new Kapuso actress revealed she's never met her British father.

“It was a very painful past,” said Bea.

“Nabuo naman ang pagkatao ko nang wala akong ama. Growing up, hindi ko na-feel na meron pagkukulang kasi my mom is both my dad [and my mom]."

[I became complete without my father. Growing up, I never felt something was missing because my mom is both my dad and my mom.]

Bea grew up with a stepfather, who's been married to her mother for 17 years.

While she didn't accept him at first, she later realized he was the “biggest blessing” to their family.

"Siya yung parang naging glue, naging dahilan kung bakit kami naging ganitong ka-close."

[My stepdad became the reason why our family became this close.]

"Sometimes gusto mo parang ’yun bang traditional family, ’di ba? But sometimes, there are also blended families and sometimes, it just works. You just have to be happy about it,” she said.

Bea Alonzo joined the Kapuso Network  and immediately welcomed the veteran journalist Jessica Soho in her Zambales farm. They had a sit-down interview which aired on "Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho" Sunday. – Kaela Malig/RC/LA, GMA News
