Derek Ramsay defends John Lloyd Cruz from basher, says he is a 'good father' to Elias

Derek Ramsay defended John Lloyd Cruz from a basher who commented on his birthday greeting for Elias.

On Instagram, Derek posted a photo with Elias in the pool.

"Happy birthday babiguling! Love ya buddy!" Derek wrote in the caption.

In the comments section, a netizen said John Lloyd should thank Derek for being a stepdad to Elias.

Derek did not ignore the comment and came to John Lloyd's defense.

"Bro that's not nice. JL is a good father to Elias," he said.

Last April, Elias' mom Ellen said John Lloyd is a present father to Elias.

"He wants to be present. [Elias] needs his father as much as he needs me," she said.

On Sunday, Ellen and John Lloyd dedicated posts for their son Elias as he turned three years old.

Ellen and Derek got engaged last March. She and John Lloyd, meanwhile, are continuing their co-parenting setup for Elias.
