Jak Roberto, Barbie Forteza say they want to get married someday

Jak Roberto and Barbie Forteza, who celebrated their fourth anniversary as a couple last month, had expressed their desire to get married someday.

In the second part of their vlog “Question We Never Asked Each Other,” Jak and Barbie answered the last question which was, “do you want to get married someday?”

“Oo naman, sino bang hihindi?” Jak immediately answered.

“Kahit pa anong wedding ’yan, kahit na simple lang, kahit na engrande or kahit saan,” he said.

“Feeling ko, ang marriage, isa siyang kasunduan na hindi n’yo magagawang sirain,” he added. “Una, walang divorce dito sa Pilipinas.”

Barbie laughed and reacted to Jak’s answer. “Bakit nasa divorce ka na? Nandun pa lang tayo sa ‘do you want to get married someday?’ Nasa divorce na siya.”

Jak explained: “’Yun nga, walang divorce dito sa Pilipinas. Ano ’yung sabi sa kasabihan, di ’yun parang mainit na kanin na puwede mong iluwa kapag napaso ka. Tama ba? Pero ganun, guys.”

The Kapuso hunk also mentioned that some couples had a “prenup” (prenuptial agreement) over their possessions.

He then joked, “eh, ako naman, kahit mas mayaman ako kay madam, willing naman akong i-ano’yon.”

Barbie said she wanted just a simple and intimate wedding.

“Kung tatanungin ako, I just want a simple wedding, intimate lang, ganyan, with close friends and family,” she said.

“Basta sabi ko sa kanya, hindi naman importante sa akin kung papaano kami ikakasal, ang importante lang, makasal kami para lang mas secure kami,” she added. “Mr. and Mrs., wow.”

Jak and Barbie have been in a relationship since 2017.

Despite having marriage as one of their plans as a couple, Jak and Barbie said they did not feel “pressured” to tie the knot. – RC, GMA News
