Niña Jose defends age gap with husband Mayor Cezar Quiambao

Niña Jose has defended from criticism the age gap between her and her 65-year-old husband, Mayor Cezar Quiambao of Bayambang, Pangasinan.

"Age ain’t nothing but a number when it comes to love," the 32-year-old former actress shared on Facebook.

"Of course you have to be at the right age in making decisions but in general love is beyond age, color, and many other things."

For Niña, "love is a choice," adding that it is "when you accept a person for who he or she is and commit yourself to grow together!"

She dedicated the message to people who criticized their relationship because of their age gap.

"So to all the haters eat your hearts out and try to find (haha if you can or if God will let you haha) someone who will love you this way ... I guarantee you it is very RARE!" she wrote.

Niña said she was "very BLESSED and HAPPY because GOD has brought Cezar and I together, it is all part of His plan and He is continuously guiding our marriage and our life through His loving grace."

She then thanked those who appreciated their relationship despite their age gap.

"So again to all the people who appreciate us, thank you so much for seeing beyond the fact that we have a huge age gap and just plainly loving us for who we are," she said.

"And to those who have something to say about us, may God bless you with a genuine love like ours so you will finally know what it feels!"

Niña also told haters that "before you judge anyone for anything make sure your own life is clean."

"God sees everything too so make sure you’re not being a hypocrite,” she said, adding: “Oo na po Cezar has money pero hindi lang naman sya ang nagkagusto sakin na 'mayaman' before hahaha maganda naman din ako noh!"

[Yes Cezar has money but he is not the only “rich person” who liked me before, hahaha I’m also pretty!]

Niña said it just so happened that "he was the one who was there and siya lang din ang NAGPAKATOTOO (he was the only one who was sincere)."

"Hahaha natatawa lang ako na may ilan na affected hahahaha grabe ganun nyo ako ka love???? Hehe thank you," she ended her note.

[Hahaha I’m amused that some people are affected, that’s how much you love me????] 

Niña is a former cast member of a local reality television show.
