As Pia Magalona honors late husband Francis M., she also greets herself: 'Happy Father's Day to me, too'
Pia Magalona honored her late husband Francis Magalona on Father's Day and curiously — and might we add, rightly too — she also gave herself a pat on the back: "Happy Father's Day to me, too."
On Instagram, Pia shared a series of family photos taken back in the '90s.
"Looking for a photo to post to commemorate this day, and this one popped out first on my gallery," Pia wrote in the caption of her post, showing a collage by Saab as the cover photo.
Pia recalled it was taken at their house on Katipunan, "and the outfits we wore were as colorful as the lives we led back then."
"I miss Francis quite a lot—even more so these past couple of years—as we are kind of forced to do introspection due to the pandemic. Oh to have those lengthy conversations again!" she added.
Pia also expressed how much she misses to see her children together.
"I wish the world—and our country, especially—would recover soon, beginning with each of us and our families," she wrote.
At the latter part of her post, she honored herself for the tough job she took on, raising all their children by herself by directing a greeting to herself.
"Happy Father’s Day to me, too," she wrote.
