Solenn Heussaff, Nico Bolzico break ground for new dream home

Solenn Heussaff and Nico Bolzico are slowly living up to their goals as they lay the groundwork for their dream home.

A video uploaded by Mundo Design + Build showed that they recently had a groundbreaking ceremony and even planted coins for good luck on a lot.

Solenn said that since she was young, she had always wanted a bigger area to live in, so seeing the place come to life made it feel so “real.”

“Obviously, right now, we live in a house but we don’t have a garden so we really wanted to have our own place,” she said.

“Since I was a kid, I’ve had this dream house and how I wanted things to be done so we [looked] for a lot and make sure that we have enough space for a garden.”

Nico said they were “very excited” because this was “the first time we’re gonna build anything in our lives.”

“It’s a milestone for a couple to build our own house. It’s something we’ve dreamed of since we got married. It’s probably [our] most important journey (that’s) non-human related.”

He added that the house they were building was a “reflection of our marriage” because 95% of the decisions were made by Solenn.

Apart from the garden, the things they were considering for the house included the ventilation and natural lighting.

Solenn and Nico tied the knot in 2016. They welcomed their daughter Thylane Katana on Jan. 1, 2020. – RC, GMA News
