Kris Bernal shares prenup photo with fiance Perry Choi on the day they were supposed to get married
Kris Bernal was supposed to get married to her fiance, Perry Choi, yesterday, June 5, but because of the pandemic, the two had to delay tying the knot.
Still, Kris marked the day she "was supposed to turn from Ms. Bernal to Mrs. Choi" by sharing a prenup photo taken by Nice Print Photography. In the photo, the couple was seen laughing out loud clad in white.
"My supposed biggest day ever," Kris wrote in the caption of her post. "We were supposed to get married today!"
Last April, Kris remembered the surge in COVID-19 cases that led to their decision. "It reached around 12k or 15k a day," she wrote, adding, "it's with deep sadness and heavy hearts" that they decided to move their wedding to a later date.
Kris said she remembered "crying so hard that day as I was having a hard time sending my cancellation message."
"I think it was one of the toughest decisions that I ever made but we need to prioritize the health and safety of the most important people in our lives," she added.
However, Kris realized that "the wedding is not entirely cancelled" and only moved to a latter date. "Prioritizing the safety of everyone was above anything else," she wrote.
Kris promised to share more of their prenup photos soon.
