Rufa Mae Quinto thinks her daughter Athena is also a comedienne

Looks like Rufa Mae Quinto’s daughter Athena inherited her mom’s comedic talents.

In an episode of “Tunay na Buhay,” Rufa Mae shared that Athena has certainly grown into a very energetic and talkative little girl. 

“Makulit siya, sobrang energy talaga. Hindi na nga ako nakakapag salita eh,” she said.

“Comedienne din. ‘Go! Go! Your kili-kili!’ ganyan siya. Lagi kang kikilitiin. Basta masiyadong funny.”

When asked if would allow her daughter to pursue showbiz, Rufa Mae said Athena hasn’t made her mind up yet.

“‘Pag nag-uusap kami, sinasabi niya gusto niya pero minsan ayaw naman niya ng camera. Hindi mo na rin alam kung ano (talaga). Masyado pang baby siguro,” she said.

Rufa is currently in the US, where she and Athena decided to stay as they were caught up in the lockdown due to the COVID-19 threat. 

Although the comedienne has been away from the spotlight for quite some time, she makes sure to still make everyone laugh through her YouTube channel. She recently appeared on the cover of a US magazine.

The actress also revealed that she plans to return to the Philippines this year to fix some of the things and assets that she has left behind.

Rufa Mae and Trevor Magallanes tied the knot in November 2016 and welcomed Athena in February 2017.
