Laura Lehmann and Von Pessumal are now married!
The former beauty queen Laura Lehmann and PBA player Von Pessumal have tied the knot! Congratulations!
On Instagram, the Miss World Philippines 2017 shared the news, posting a photo of the two of them sharing a kiss during their civil wedding ceremony.
"Eloped," she began her caption. "Quietly got married earlier this year. And now, I want to spend the rest of my life making you as happy as you make me."
Laura expressed how much she loves her partner saying it was the best day of her life.
"I will elope with you any time, any place... even in a small room behind city hall. I’m so, so happy to be your wife," she wrote.
"P.S. thanks for making me ligaw while I reported on your games," she added.
Von also made the announcement on his Instagram account, saying he "married my best friend." He posted a photo of the two of them during their civil wedding cermony.
"Some time ago, my now wife Laure and I quietly got married. We decided to keep it to our selves for a while," he said, tagging the former beauty queen.
Von said, "the thing is, when you are with someone who shares the same Vision and Passion for success as yourself, matters such as Marriage simply become more of a legality than a drastic lifestyle change."
"Having you in my life has been nothing short of perfection. It’s honestly like playing with a great point guard; if I do my job well I know my team will win," he wrote. "I will love you everyday and always."
Laura and Von announced their engagement in May 2020.
