Donna Cruz gets oil painting portrait from husband Yong Larrazabal for Mother’s Day
Instead of the usual flowers and cake, Yong Larrazabal took his gifting game to the next level by giving his wife Donna Cruz an oil painting portrait of herself for Mother’s Day.
On Instagram, Donna shared the portrait and thanked her husband for its realistic rendition of the original photo.
“Thank you so much, (honey)! ... thank you for always making me feel special and loved!” she wrote.
In the painting, Donna was seen clad in a beautiful white gown.
“You and our kids are my greatest blessings and I am forever grateful and thankful to God for all of you!” she added.
Donna said marrying Yong “was the best decision I have ever made and our children are our best gifts from God.”
“I was truly born for you and to be the mom of our kids,” she added. “Alam mo na ’yan talaga pakiramdam ko (You know that that’s how I really feel).”
Donna said although the two of them had been married for almost 23 years, Yong “still make me feel like how you made me feel ‘kilig’ when we first met and even more pa nga now.”
“Thank you hny! I love you forever and always ! I love our family so much, you all complete me!” she said, tagging her family in the caption.
“I am who I am because of you, our children and of course my parents (love you papa and mama - Happy Mother’s Day po ulit, ma Dolores),” she added.
She ended her note by expressing her gratitude to her husband. “Thanks again hny ko Yong - my first, my last, my strength, my everything, my forever!”
