Chynna Ortaleza recalls breaking down, getting advice from 5-year-old daughter

Chynna Ortaleza revealed that she received advice from her daughter Stellar when the 5-year-old saw her crying recently.

In a press conference on Friday, the actress said she broke down due to the frustrations she had been keeping inside her because of the pandemic.

Chynna said she had been crying for three hours and Stellar looked at her like she was an “alien.”

“Hindi siya sanay nakikita nanay niya nagbre-breakdown ng ganoon (she is not used to seeing her mom break down like that),” she said.

Chynna said her daughter then said something that shook her. “Mom, God is already at work. Why are you scared?” 

That’s when she sobered up, said the mom. “My 5-year-old told me God is at work. Why are you scared?” she said.

“That’s when I felt that we must be doing something right at home, Kean and I, for us to have merit in this five-year-old girl who just has that much wisdom in her,” she said.

Chynna and Kean Cipriano, who tied the knot in a civil wedding in 2015 and a church wedding in 2017, have two kids together, Stellar and Salem. – RC, GMA News
