Sharon Cuneta shares emotional video call with KC
Sharon Cuneta wasn’t able to hold back her tears when she had a heartwarming moment with her eldest daughter KC Concepcion.
In the middle of a family dinner to celebrate Sharon and husband Sen. Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan’s 25th wedding anniversary, the Megastar gave KC a surprise call.
On Instagram, Wednesday, Sharon shared a touching snippet of it, where she is seen crying and wishing that KC was with them.
“I wish you were here for dinner,” she said. To which, KC answered: “I would’ve gone there but it’s okay. I’m so happy you guys are okay.”
KC added she was also celebrating with them from afar but virtually present.
“[Dad] sent me food that you were having there and I said ‘Okay, I’ll eat with you.’ That’s the way we’re gonna celebrate during this whole thing,” KC said.
When Sharon expressed that she was okay but her heart isn’t, her daughter immediately said that she wants to “hug her so bad.”
On her Instagram account, KC also shared a screenshot from their mother- daughter moment, and said she “cherished every second of it.”
“You have no idea how excited I get to have the chance to do a bit of girl talk with you. So happy to be part of your intimate 25th wedding anniversary celebration,” KC wrote.
“My mom’s so beautiful!!!” she added in Filipino. “My heart is filled with gratitude for so many reasons. Love you Ma.”
Sharon and Kiko marked their silver wedding anniversary on Wednesday with a family dinner with their three kids: Frankie, Miel and Miguel.
To mark the occasion, KC and Frankie greeted their parents through social media with sweet messages and photos.
KC is Sharon’s daughter with Gabby Concepcion. She was legally adopted by Kiko when she was 16 years old.
