Dingdong Dantes is working with two of his sisters in his new start-up 'Dingdong PH'
As it turns out, Dingdong PH is some kind of family affair for Dingdong Dantes.
At the virtual launch on Monday, the Kapuso Primetime King revealed he is also working with his two sisters Angela and Vicki.
"Si Angela, siya 'yung sumunod sa 'kin. She is with the Rider Management Team. Nasa behind the scenes siya, but very active every day," Dingdong told GMA News Online in an exclusive interview.
Vicki, Dingdong said is his youngest sister. She is a fresh graduate and "she is with the Business Development Team, so talagang kaka-graduate lang ng college," he said.
Dingdong said Vicki is the only one among him and his siblings to have her graduation done virtually due to the pandemic.
Dingdong said since the country is in lockdown, he thought about tapping her youngest sister to be part of his new business venture.
"So anyway nag-lockdown, marami ring katanungan sa sarili niya, kung anong pe-puwede niyang gawin. I saw an opportunity and we’re here for her and I invited her. Sabi ko, 'halika, sali ka. Tingnan mo kung alin dito ang gusto mong gawin, alin dito ang puwede mong gawin," he said.
According to Dingdong, the Dingdong PH team "considers everyone as our partner."
"You know in a way minsan we call ourselves a team but kami mismo, we make sure we look out for each other," he added. "Kapag may pangangailangan ka sisiguraduhin namin na-pupunan namin yun."
The Kapuso actor said the growth of each of the member of their team is important. "Gusto namin, hindi ka ma-stress at ma-pressure sa gagawin mo."
"Gusto namin may good quality of work, and if may good quality of work maganda yung quality of life mo," he added.
Dingdong said they look out for each other when it comes to work and life.
"Kaya binabantayan namin ang isa't isa. Kahit ako, binabantayan nila kapag medyo overworked na, sinasabi nila oh hinay-hinay ka lang," he said.
Dingdong said he thinks working with her sisters will help him build a deeper relationship with them.
"I’m really happy to have them on board and kapag trabaho trabaho and when we need to get personal mas nag-kakaroon ng deeper relationship, it’s like going through something special together and kapag may ginagawa kayo together very memorable mas lumalalim yung samahan," he said.
At the official press launch of Dingdong PH, the Kapuso Primetime King said Dingdong PH is his way of paying it forward to those who have helped him and his parents for his school expenses before entering the showbiz industry. — LA, GMA News
