‘Crash Landing On You’ stars Seo Ji Hye, Kim Jung Hyun deny dating rumors

“Crash Landing On You” stars Seo Ji Hye and Kim Jung Hyun have denied the rumors that they are in a relationship.

Dating rumors surfaced after news outlet Sports Chosun reported that the two developed a romantic relationship after starring in the highly acclaimed drama series, according to a Soompi report on Thursday. 

An acquaintance of the two actors reportedly revealed to Sports Chosun that Jung Hyun fell for Ji Hye’s cleverness while Ji Hye fell for Jung Hyun’s enthusiasm.

A source from Ji Hye’s agency, however, denied the rumors, saying the actress was “definitely not dating Kim Jung Hyun.” It added: “We are bewildered.”

Meanwhile, a source from Kim Jung Hyun’s agency echoed the other party’s sentiments, saying the two had only “a close relationship as senior and junior after working together” on “Crash Landing On You.”

In the series, which is also known as CLOY, Ji Hye plays Seo Dan, a reserved North Korean woman who falls for Jung Hyun’s character Seung Joon, a South Korean con artist who takes refuge in her country.

Recently, Jung Hyun also made a special appearance in Ji Hye’s latest drama “Dinner Mate.”

“CLOY” became a trending topic on Twitter as the rumors surfaced and fans expressed their excitement, especially after the drama’s lead actors Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin confirmed in January that they were dating.

One fan even said that while their characters did not end up together, Ji Hye and Jung Hyun might have their chance at happily-ever-after in real life.
