Kris Aquino clarified 5 important points in her tell-all speech

Kris Aquino revealed details about her family in a 25-minute speech released on social media.

The self-styled Queen of all Media finally set the records straight, to stop the malicious accusations and the terrible rumors directed to her sons.

In a Facebook post on Sunday, Kris delivered a tell-all speech as she held on to a yellow pad, from which she read her speech. According to Kris, she was advised to write everything down to avoid getting off-track from her points.

On her relationship with Herbert Bautista:

Kris revealed that she and former boyfriend Herbert Bautista had tried to reconnect.

As a mother, though, she asked for Bimby’s permission first before pursuing anything with the politician. 

“To quote my son, noong pinag-uusapan namin, sinabi niya, ‘I can see how you still look at him. You do not look at other the way you look at him. If he is your happiness, then he has my vote',” Kris recalled Bimb as saying.

Kris clarified that although Herbert got her son’s acceptance, they have their own lives and that they left their home in Quezon City already.

“His political plans, whatever plans he has, they are his own.”

On her employee Bincai Luntayao leaving

Although Kris wanted to keep things private about former employee Bincai Luntayao, the actress stated that she doesn’t have the “luxury” to do so.

According to Kris, she tried reaching out but Bincai decided to leave on her own.

“Naiintindihan ko kahit very generous ako, gusto rin naman niyang mag-asawa, magka-family and siguro matanggalan ng 24/7 na responsibility of taking care of me.”

She added that there is no “bad blood” between them.

On Josh getting a girl pregnant and Bimby being gay

According to Kris, she initially decided to keep her thoughts to herself, but decided to show everyone that she is not backing down.

“Nanay ako na binabalahura na ang mga anak. Sinubukan ko to shut up para ‘wag na ‘tong humaba but shutting up caused me even more stress,” she said.

“In just one week, OA sa pagka-malicious ang pag-target sa panganay at sa bunso ko. Inisip siguro kung mag-imbento tungkol sa panganay at tawaging bakla yung bunso, titiklop na yung nanay,” she added.

Kris clarified that the YouTube video circulating, in which Josh was told to have gotten a girl pregnant, wasn’t true.

Coming to Bimby's defense meanwhile, Kris called it bulling and “Bullying a 13-year-old dahil sa tingin nila bakla siya. Utang na loob naman. This is 2021. We are living in 2021.”

According to her, Bimby takes care of her and makes sure that she is happy.

“Nakakahiya mang aminin pero siya ang gumagawa ng lahat ng paraan para lang gumaan yung mga problema ko at para mapaligaya niya ako.”

Being full of the attacks on her sons, Kris stated that she decided to “defend” them and that she’s willing to go to war.

“Hindi nila fault that they cannot count on their fathers, hindi nila choice na ang nanay nila, ang apelyido ay Aquino, hindi nila kasalanan that the lies about my family will continue until history gets completely re-written.”

On her having an “agenda” when helping people

According to Kris, she's always attacked by bashers whenever she helps out because people think she's using the country’s money.

With this, Kris had one thing to say: “Hindi po ako kagaya nung iba. Hindi po ako epal.”

“Wala po akong agenda. Tumatanaw lang ako ng utang na loob because my mom taught me, ‘There would be no Kris Aquino if Filipinos did not support or believe in you.’”

“Mas lalong hindi po ako kagaya ng iba kasi ako po, nagbibigay galing sa bulsa ko.”

She added that she pays her taxes regularly and she has never had a bad record on the government.

Kris also stated that she has “no party affiliation” but she clearly knows the people who wants to attack them. Pres. Rodrigo Duterte isn’t one of them, she clarified.

“Never ko siyang binantaan so para po sa mga DDS, wala tayong reason na maging mag-kaaway.”

Being faced with false accusations her whole life, Kris has had enough: “Tama na. Sobra na. Lalaban na.”

On why she's doing this 

With her parents’ sacrifices for the country, the Aquino family have been a target of several attacks. Kris couldn’t help but share one that she couldn’t forget.

“Sumabog yung kotse sa labas ng bedroom ko. Ang lakas na po ng barilan sa labas. Tumakbo papasok sa kwarto ko na walang bulletproof glass ang mom ko at si Noy.”

“Bago inisip ng nanay ko ang sarili niya, inuna niya to secure me," Kris Aquino, saying she became the kind of mother that she is because of the examples set by her own mom, President Cory Aquino. 

Considering her parents’ legacy, Kris said she would not dare disappoint them for the actions she’s doing for her family.

“I am not here to attack but you leave me no choice but to defend. Alam ko naman eh. Hindi na ‘ko tatantanan kaya habang may freedom of speech pa, mag-tiisan na lang tayo.”
