Carla Abellana and Tom Rodriguez's engagement is so intimate and so real

Carla Abellana and Tom Rodriguez are engaged and on Instagram, renowned wedding photographer Pat Dy shared photos from their incredibly intimate engagement shoot.

In the engagement shoot, Tom was seen clad in a plain collared polo shirt while Carla looked beautiful, dressed down in a white long sleeves top.

"Don't they just look good together?" Pat captioned one of his posts.

"Congratulations Carla and Tom!" He continued as he tagged the happy couple.

Meanwhile, Nice Print Photography shared photos from the couple's actual engagement and revealed the two have been engaged since October 2020. The engagement was attended by family.

Carla and Tom announced their engagement on social media Sunday. 

Carla posted a couple photo that highlighted her bejeweled finger, and wrote in the caption, "A million times, YES." People have been waiting on and asking the couple for their marriage plans. In fact in an interview with GTalk TV Show uploaded on YouTube just last Tuesday, Tom was asked what he was waiting for before popping the question.

"We never know," he answered mysteriously. "When we’re ready — people might know and you never know if it’s already happened or not,"

In the interview, he said "we’re ready, we’re at that stage, we’ve talked about it a lot."

Tom also said that he can say that Carla is "definitely the one."

At the beginning of the interview, Tom was asked when Carla last made him cry.

"It was just October 18 it’s like a look look that she gave me that my heart swell," he said. "It’s just seeing her with our dogs and with her family it just felt so overwhelming and I couldn't even understand why it was happening since we’ve been together for over 6 years."

"But I just looked at her and there was a light, ray, just right at her framing her with her just interacting with her family and her dogs filled with my heart with so much love for her," he added.

Last December, Carla shared that being locked down together during the pandemic — and experiencing their fair share of arguments — has strengthened their relationship. 

In March 2020, Lhar Santiago asked when their wedding would be, to which Carla candidly pointed to Tom and said, "ito tanungin niyo."
