Heart Evangelista looks back, thanks her struggles for leading her to Chiz Escudero
Heart Evangelista is thankful for her struggles for making her stronger to fight for the love of her life, Sorsogon Gov. Francis “Chiz” Escudero.
On Thursday, Heart shared on Instagram stories a screenshot of a 2013 interview where she opened up about her family pushing her away because of the former senator, who was then her boyfriend.
According to the actress, rewatching it after seven years made her look at old pictures and struggles that “nobody knew about.”
For surpassing all her troubles, she thanked God for the guidance and the “happy life” she “finally” got to achieve. She then encouraged everyone to make each day count.
“People may say this and that because they only see the ‘finished product’ but nobody knows what you had to go through to be where you are so cheers to life!” she wrote.
Heart then shared a series of photos from a sexy shoot she did in the past because she needed the income after her mom confiscated her money.
In one photo where she wore a bra top and denim shorts, she could be seen looking uncomfortable and “stressed” with “sad eyes:” “Literally wanted to cry here!”
The actress posted another photo of herself in black underwear, stockings, and heels for a liquor brand. “Hirap kumita,” she said.
She also shared another photo of herself wearing a red one-piece suit and showing her cleavage while lying on the floor.
While saying it was her favorite among the sexy shots, she stressed that she didn’t want to do that kind of pictorial again.
Despite everything she went though, Heart said she was thankful and happy with her “biggest blessing.”
“So glad for all my heartaches and sacrifices in the past—made me strong enough to fight for you,” she said, posting a photo of herself with her husband.
The couple celebrated their 6th wedding anniversary in February.
Heart’s parents didn’t attend the wedding in 2015. Her father gave her a letter instead, saying he’d “come knocking at [her] door” once he sees that Chiz loves her the way she deserves. – Franchesca Viernes/RC, GMA News
