Derek Ramsay hopes he and Andrea Torres can be friends one day

Derek Ramsay is holding out hope that he and ex-girlfriend Andrea Torres can reconnect as friends in the future.

In Nelson Canlas' exclusive interview with Derek and Ellen Adarna, the actor said he and Andrea broke up due to "differences" that they could not handle.

Derek also revealed that he and Andrea haven't spoken since the breakup but he had "no regrets on what happened" between the two of them.

"I'm sure there will come a time where we will be back to having some sort of relationship as friends and I hope for that one day," he said.

Derek added that he respects Andrea and her family.

"If I definitely see her in the hallways of GMA, I'd approach her and greet her and her mom," he said.

After being together for a year, Derek and Andrea confirmed last November that they've called it quits.
