Gerald Anderson confirms relationship with Julia Barretto
After years of speculation, Gerald Anderson finally confirmed that he and Julia Barretto are in a romantic relationship.
In a tell-all interview with Boy Abunda on Friday, Gerald said he was “very happy” with Julia and that their involvement with each other was a “yes.”
He also looked back on his past relationship with Bea Alonzo and clarified that he did not “ghost” anyone.
“Ang dating sa ’kin parang nasa gitna kami ng dinner and nag-decide ako mag-walk out, ’di na magpapakita kahit kailan,” he said.
“’Yon ba ang definition or is it walking away from a very unhealthy relationship? Together, we were very toxic,” he added.
In August 2019, both Gerald and Julia said she wasn’t the reason for his and Bea’s breakup.
Gerald, like Julia, was also accused of being the third party in her previous relationship with Joshua Garcia.
He said he had accepted that people would always blame him for what happened to both relationships. “I’ve come to terms with it,” said the actor.
“I couldn’t look at myself in the mirror kapag nagkwento pa ’ko about my relationship at kung paano kami naghiwalay o ’di naghiwalay,” he said.
