Doug Kramer reveals why he teared up while moving out of their first home

Before moving into their resort-like mansion with a home theater, infinity pool and a view, Team Kramer lived in a much simpler home that was very special to Doug and Chesca.

While doing a house tour for GMA's "Tunay na Buhay," Doug explained why he couldn't help but tear up when they officially moved out of their old house.

"I was so emotional at that part, kasi parang we were moving out na talaga and that house talaga was a leap of faith for us," Doug said.

"I came out of college and married her, so I only had whatever I earned from modelling," he added.

Chesca also recalled an important talk she had with Doug before finally deciding to build the house.

"Sabi ko sa kanya, 'Basta honey, 'wag tayong mag-aaway ha? Ayaw kong mahirapan ka magbayad, I dont want [that]. I'm happy where we are just as long as we’re together,'" she said.

Doug and Chesca, together with their three children Kendra, Scarlett and Gavin, are famously known as Team Kramer.
