JC de Vera revealed that he and non-showbiz partner Rikkah Cruz already tied the knot years ago.
In Erich Gonzales' vlog posted on Sunday, the actor said that he and Rikkah held a civil ceremony before they welcomed their daughter, Lana Athena, in 2018.
"Inuna talaga namin civil wedding tapos lumabas si Lana," JC said. "Right after lumabas si Lana dapat mag-church wedding kami kaso nagka-pandemic."
The actor said that he really wasn't a "big announcement" type of person but he wouldn't deny that he's married if anyone asked him.
"Gusto ko mayroon akong sariling privacy na wife ko lang nakakakita. Same with my daughter na habang lumalaki siya, ito nakikilala niya. Kumbaga 'yung ano napapanood niya sa TV, totally different person," he said.
Even though they've already said their "I do's," JC said that they're still planning to push through with their church wedding this year.
"Kailangan 'yung church. Hindi ko siya totally na-di-digest na hanggang doon sa civil wedding. Gusto talaga namin na church. 'Yung civil parang dumaan lang. Gusto namin mag-prepare something big," he said.
