Heart Evangelista on how she deals with arguments with Chiz Escudero: ‘Tinutulugan ko siya’

Heart Evangelista has revealed that she would at times walk out or go to sleep during arguments with her husband, Sorsogon Gov. Chiz Escudero.

“When we argue, si Chiz kasi magaling magsalita, he’s really good with debate,” the actress said in celebrity beauty doctor Aivee Aguilar-Teo’s vlog on Sunday. “I choose my battles so I’m quiet and it pisses him more when I’m quiet.”

She added, “So I’m guilty also of going up and sleeping. Tinutulugan ko siya.”

Since Heart said that she’s not confrontational, she would end up writing Chiz a letter.

“I’m more of I’ll write you a letter first so if you write a letter, they can actually digest it more and better because they don’t see your face. He’s not irritated na galit ka,” the actress said. “So ’yung tone according sa tone sa utak niya so mas maiintindihan niya.”

She added, “There’s no point kasi arguing and fighting. When you guys are angry at the very moment, let it pass.”

Heart also revealed a few struggles she had to deal with and understand when she started having a relationship with Chiz, but thankfully, she was able to overcome it with her love for him.

“He also really loved me. He understood my immaturity or whenever I get mad and unreasonable. Naging maalaga rin siya with my feelings,” she said.
